Blue Chip Leadership

The Blue Chip Leadership Experience is a nationally renowned engagement program at the University of Arizona intended to build leaders who make a difference. This foundational program is designed to equip students with the top skills employers are looking for, and help students acquire the knowledge and experience needed to be real-world ready.

The Blue Chip First Year Experience is designed to help students engage with campus, connect with like-minded Wildcats, and become leaders at the UA. Members who are accepted into the Blue Chip Leadership: First Year Experience have the opportunity to take part in the residential program – The Blue Chip Theme Community, and live in the same hall as other first-year members of Blue Chip.  The opportunity to live in a Theme Community with your fellow Blue Chip Members provides a strong foundation of support and connections that encourage strong bonds throughout your entire collegiate career, and beyond.

  • Build relationships with peers who are passionate about their academic and professional success
  • Receive guidance and support from faculty and peers
  • Create a competitive resume, cover letter and portfolio
  • Feel equipped to be an inclusive leader who promotes positive change and is on the path to being real-world ready at graduation
  • Delve into understanding Blue Chip’s four core values: Diversity, Integrity, Excellent and Service
