Campus Resources for Student Death

Campus Resources for Student Death

Dear Campus Housing Resident,

It is with a sad heart we join our campus community in mourning the tragic loss of a fellow Wildcat who was killed on campus this weekend. The University of Arizona Police Department is working closely with the Tucson Police Department in investigating the matter. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 88-CRIME.

We understand events like this are hard to comprehend. If you would like to talk to someone please reach out to your Community Director or UA Campus Health Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) at 520-621-3334. Online walk-in counseling is available Monday-Friday, 9AM-3:30PM. Click here to get started.

You can also contact the Dean of Students Office or attend a free bi-weekly Students of Color Online Support Group (Tuesdays at 2PM and Thursdays at 11AM).

Additionally, several Cultural Centers are planning Zoom-based healing spaces this week. We will share more information about these events as they become available.
