Honors Village FAQ

The University of Arizona Honors Village features dorm and apartment-style housing for more than 1,000 Honors Wildcats. With integrated dining, collaborative learning classrooms, an interior courtyard, community kitchen, faculty and staff offices, a Campus Recreation Center and a Campus Health Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) satellite, the Honors Village serves as the hub for the Honors community.

Housing & Room Options

The Honors Village is located in the North District, one of UA's four residential dorm districts. Across the street are the new North District Campus Recreation Center and Campus Health Services Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) facilities. The Honors Village is also close to the Eller College of Management, James E. Rogers College of Law, and Fine Arts buildings.

Please note: Rates apply to housing only and do not include the cost of a meal plan or parking. The Honors College provides various scholarship and financial opportunities for honors students who live in the Honors Village. Housing & Residential Life is committed to providing inclusive housing through offering Open Housing in all dorms. Open Housing is intended to create a comfortable living environment for transgender and gender non-conforming residents as well as any student who wants to live with someone of a different gender. *The Honors Village is owned and serviced by American Campus Communities (ACC). ACC holds contracts with some different vendors than we do at our university-owned buildings. This includes WASH for laundry and Pavlov for residential internet.

Security

At UA, dorms are locked 24/7. Your CatCard gives you access to your building. For more safety and security information and resources, visit the Safety and Security page.

Inside the Honors Village dorm is '85 North, an in-dorm dining facility by the Arizona Student Unions. All Honors Village residents must have a meal plan; other students and the UA community are able to utilize this new eatery using either a meal plan or USD. See the Arizona Student Unions website for more information and pricing.

All campus parking is managed by Parking and Transportation Services and like all of our 22 other dorms, is independent from Housing. Please visit parking.arizona.edu for more information about securing your parking permit. There is no visitor parking in this garage.

Parking

The Honor Village is located next to a four level parking structure and parking lots operated by UA Parking & Transportation. Parking is not included with housing. For more information please visit UA Parking & Transportation.

UA Campus Cat Tran

The Honors Village is be a part of the Cat Tran Route, which includes stops at Old Main, Main Library, and many other stops around campus.

There are two combined water fountain/bottle-filling stations; one is located in the dining facility on the first floor, and the other is by the public bathrooms on the second floor.
