While current/returning students can choose to live anywhere, these optional communities are designed to help Wildcats stick with it â gaining confidence, finding direction, and connecting with peers who are navigating the same stage of the journey. Whether you're looking for academic support, amenities, convenience, value, or just want your own space, we have options just for current and transfer Wildcats â including single rooms and rooms with full-size beds. No confusing or complicated leases required!
Ărbol de la Vida
Ărbol de la Vida is home to more than 700 residents and features five interconnected buildings linked by sky bridges. Due to high demand, the E Building will be reserved for female residents only during the 2027-2028 academic year.
Hopi
Our smallest dorm is even cozier with ALL single rooms featuring full-sized (double) beds in the Highland District, reserved just for current and transfer students. Hopi is great for those looking to live within a strong, smaller community.
Honors Village
The Honors Village continues to enhance the honors experience on campus. Honors Wildcats can return to live in an Honors Village apartment, double, or a single-suite (based on availability).
Pima
Located in the heart of campus, Pima dorm is an ideal dorm for current and returning Wildcats! Pima offers suite-style dorm rooms, some with full beds. Pima consists of two physical buildings, Pima Lodge and Pima House. Three community kitchens located in both buildings make it even easier to cook a meal or heat something on the go!
The process will open in January 11, 2027. More information will be shared soon.
- Selecting a roommate is optional.
- If you have a roommate (or multiple roommates), you must use the roommate tools in My UAHome to submit and confirm roommate requests.
- You will need to finalize and confirm all roommate requests before you choose a room.
- If assigning with a roommate (or roommates in a group), only one member of the group should access room selection to choose room(s) for all members of the group. All others can log into their applications after that to "accept" their room assignment(s).
- Both the roommate search/request tools and room selection will remain available to you until July 1, so if you change your mind later, you can still make changes until that date.
- Roommate tools are not available if you are assigned to a room. Changing something in a roommate group will require you to cancel your room assignment to have access to the roommate search/request tools again.
- Eligible Honors students will be able to choose Honors Village apartments, doubles, or single-suites.
- Honors students will not be able to âpull inâ a non-honors roommate with them into the Honors Village.
- Non-honors students currently living in the Honors Village will not be eligible to return to the Honors Village next year.
If you are a current student (any student who was enrolled in classes at the University during a previous academic year, as defined in Section 2) l. of your License Agreement), and your housing application is canceled for any reason:
- On or after May 15, 2027, and before July 1, 2027, you will be charged a $300 late cancellation fee.
- On or after July 1, 2027, you will be charged a $600 late cancellation fee.
These housing options are intended for current U of A students however, students can choose to live in any dorm. Space is limited; access to these housing options is based on availability. Except for those living in Honors Village, current students are not required to have a meal plan.
