University Guest Housing: Rowhouses

The University of Arizona offers exclusive rowhouses designed to accommodate University Leadership and distinguished guests when approved by a Division V.P. 

The furnished rowhouses feature spacious 2-bedroom layouts, complete with full kitchens and living areas, equipped with modern amenities.

These housing options reflect the University’s commitment to hospitality, providing a welcoming environment that supports the work and contributions of its leadership and special guests. Located on the southeast side of campus near, Campus Recreation, the rowhouses provide a comfortable and convenient living experience, blending privacy with proximity to campus.

When reaching out, be sure to include the following information:

  • Requestor’s name, department, and contact information
  • Name of the potential occupant
  • Occupant's position within the University
  • Division V.P. who will be sending an email with approval
  • Requested date of occupancy and projected length of stay

  • Monthly rent is $1,400  
    • This excludes any additional services that may incur separate charges, such as cleaning.
  • The occupant will be required to sign a contract outlining the rent and usage terms.  
    • The occupant must also submit their Housing Condition Report within seven (7) days of moving in.
  • Rent payment may be made in the following ways:
    • By the occupant to the university or
    • A department may be responsible for paying the rent or
    • The University may waive the rent if it is determined to benefit the University, rather than for the convenience of the employee. If the rent is waived, the University may be required to report the value as compensation to payroll, and it will be subject to taxes on the employee’s paycheck.
  • Rent is due to be paid to XXX before the 1st day of each month. 
     

The Guest Housing Agreement grants a license to use the assigned guest housing accommodations for a specific purpose. It does not serve as a lease granting possession of the apartment or room. The Agreement becomes effective and binding once a signed Guest Housing Agreement is received.

This Guest Housing Agreement supplements the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Housing & Residential Life and the Sponsoring Department concerning Guest Accommodations. To view or download the Guest Housing agreement, click here.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is a formal agreement between two or more parties or departments, outlining the expectations and intentions of each party. This MOU supplements the Guest Housing Agreement between Housing & Residential Life and the Sponsoring Department concerning Guest Accommodations.
