U of A Dorms Continue to Receive Renovations

As a part of constant efforts to meet the needs of our residents and offer upgraded amenities, Housing & Residential Life continues to update dorms across campus. The most recent round of updates was completed during the summer of 2024; changes ensure more safety, security, and comfort for our Wildcats as they reside within their 'home away from home.'
- Converted 73 rooms from doubles to triples within 3 dorms (Arizona-Sonora, Cochise, Stadium)
- Converted 71 rooms from singles to doubles within 3 dorms (Apache-Santa Cruz, Coronado, Pima)
- New Housing Welcome Center at El Portal

- Replaced resident room flooring from carpet to Luxury Vinyl Planks
- Added new carpeting in lobby
