About Blue Chip

Mission: Build leaders who make a difference.

The Blue Chip Leadership Experience is a nationally renowned foundational engagement program at the University of Arizona. What was once a dream to inspire student leaders has evolved into one of the University of Arizona’s finest campus programs. The program is designed to help you engage on campus, and connect with like-minded Wildcats, and help you develop as leaders at the UA. As a result of the program’s design, you come out of the Blue Chip Leadership Experience being Real-World Ready. Blue Chip teaches you how to develop a well-structured resume and a professional portfolio that contains your accomplishments, goals, and involvement experiences.

According to the 2015 NACE Job Outlook Survey, the top two skills employers are looking for on a resume are Leadership and Teamwork, both of which Blue Chip teaches. Overall, Blue Chip helps you develop skills that employers look for in graduates.

If you want to learn how to lead, create a competitive resume, and be Real-World Ready for life after graduation, take the first step by filling out the Blue Chip Leadership: First Year Experience Enrollment Form.
