Pronounced AW-THAM-KEE, this phrase translates from the southwest tribes (Hopi and O'odham) languages as "The People's House." This community provides a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive living and learning environment for Native American students that affirms Native American cultural identity and emphasizes education, culture, empowerment, and community.

How to Apply
- Submit a housing application in My UAHome
- Pay the non-refundable housing application fee
- A fee deferment may be available under certain circumstances. Please contact Denise Morales (contact information below) for a form.
- The community application process, inside your housing application, opens in December. Space is limited.

The O'odham Ki: Community is an engaging living environment where students have access to unique resources and programs designed to support their transition to college. It’s expected that students living in the community take advantage of the array of academically enriching activities offered to members of the community – space is limited, so sign up quickly!
