Today the University is transitioning to Stage 2. With this change, we are happy to share that we are reducing some restrictions in the dorms.
It is with a sad heart we join our campus community in mourning the tragic loss of a fellow Wildcat who was killed on campus this weekend.
Due to declining positivity rates on campus and in Pima County, you are no longer required to be tested for COVID-19 twice per week. Instead, you are required to be tested weekly (at least once every seven days).
Starting Feb. 1, all Campus Housing Residents must receive an antigen nasal swab test at the South Ballroom location.
University leadership has directed all dorm and La Aldea residents to test using rapid antigen nasal swab tests.
The university has advised that all students who live on campus will be required to get a COVID-19 test twice per week until testing results improve.
"Wildcat WellCheck" screens students before they are on campus or in class.

University officials are asking that students arriving from outside Pima County self-quarantine for seven days even if they have tested negative.
